Sound Bath in August

We are so excited to partner with Magic Moon Medicine to offer a rejuvenating Sound Bath at the Buxtons Building in Anacortes.

A sound bath is a form of meditation in which participants are “bathed” in healing sound waves for the purpose of restoring harmony and balance in the body. A cocoon of sound generated by chimes, drums, singing bowls and other musical instruments helps to relax and recalibrate your nervous system and can even cause shifts in brain activity.

What to bring:

- yoga mats

- blankets

- pillows

- anything to create a cozy little nest to lay back and relax in while you experience the healing power of sound

Location: Buxtons, 1904 Commercial Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221

Date: Sunday, August 28th

Time: 7pm-8:30pm

Cost: $20 when pre-registering online (or $25 at the door)

We will be sending out an email with more details a couple of days before the event begins so please keep an eye out!

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the event begins. 

The door will be locked a little after 6:30pm in order to not disturb the experience of participants.

ABOUT YOUR SOUND BATH HOST

Jaclyn Schlindwein, LAc, is a licensed acupuncturist and East Asian Medicine Practitioner. 

She has been trained in Vibration Medicine over the years by many teachers including:

Jaclyn believes that the stressors of everyday life can lead to dissonance within our bodies, but that sound can return us back to balance.
