NY Capital District Renaissance Festival

Join us for a weekend of music, magic, and wonder at the 8th annual New York Capital District Renaissance Festival. The two-day event, set in the bucolic fields and orchards of Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont, NY, has a little bit of fun for everyone.  Shop more than 60 artisan vendors offering everything from custom-made jewelry to pottery, weaponry, and Renaissance garb!  Catch befuddling feats of magical skill, fierce sword-fighting acts, musical performances, and of course, the Royal Joust!  Enjoy craft beer and cider? Add a pub crawl to your experience and be entertained by charming and hilarious guides as you sample different brews from Indian Ladder Cidery and Brewery in a hand-made collectible mug.  Enjoy turkey legs smoked for 12 hours by a pit master, try expertly crafted Lebanese cuisine, find out what a Texas Tornado Chip is, pair it with a barbecue sandwich, burger, or hotdog, or interesting deep-fried veggies and a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade for an unforgettable day!
